The Canyon

The Canyon is one of Red sea's most unique dive sites, offering an incredible underwater landscape shaped by geological forces over thousands of years. This famous dive site features a dramatic crevice that runs deep into the seabed, with depths ranging from 10 meters to over 50 meters.

The dive begins from the zodiac next to the shallow sandy lagoon filled with vibrant coral formations and schools of reef fish. As you descend, you'll enter the Canyon itself, a deep crack in the seabed with breathtaking rock formations and overhanging walls. Sunrays filter through the opening above, creating mesmerizing light effects that make this dive truly unforgettable.

At around 30 meters, divers can find a large exit leading to the open sea, while the deeper sections remain a challenge for technical divers. Marine life around The Canyon includes glassfish, lionfish, nudibranchs, and even the occasional turtle or eagle ray.
